Coconut Lagoon is located along a cove in Kumarakom, on Vembanad Lake. The property respects the rich but delicate ecosphere and the vibrant culture of Kuttanad region.

At the hotel you will find a pool, an Ayurvedic centre, a small gym and a gift shop.
The individual cottages are scattered throughout the grounds, offering guests a tranquil and private space. Each cottage is unique and is built from the reconstructed remnants of old mansions, traditionally known as Tharavads. Which were transported and reconstructed by skilled craftsmen to recreate these traditional homes.

There are 27 (twin bedded) Heritage Bungalows with a private outdoor covered terrace with en-suite bathroom (partially open to the sky).
There are 14 heritage mansions (6 twins and 8 doubles) these duplex rooms have a living area on the lower level and a bedroom upstairs. There is a large covered outdoor terrace overlooking the gardens.
The property also has 8 lakefront pool villas (all doubles). Each with a large separate living room and spacious bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. An outdoor covered terrace looking out over the lake and a private pool with sun loungers.
Kerala is known for its exotic spices, and fittingly Keralan cuisine makes full use of them as well as coconuts and of course rice, which is grown in abundance in Kerala.
At the Coconut lagoon dine at Aymanam, the lakeside restaurant which serves up Keralan specialties served up on banana leaves. It features both indoor and outdoor seating, being close to the water, fish features heavily on the menu, in particular, 'karimeen', a fish found in the backwaters.
Ettukettuwhich derives its name from the style of architecture the building is based. The restaurant serves lunch and dinner and offers a range of cuisines.
The Vembanad grill restaurant serves the catch of the day fish and seafood dishes grilled to perfection.
For those looking for a unique dining experience, you can book a dinner amongst the paddy fields.
