Overview
The Hotel Nacional de Cuba was built in 1930 and has been declared a National Monument which commands a privileged location in the centre of Havana in the Vedado district. On top of a hill, it looks down over the city, the sea, Havana Harbour and the seawall and counts Winston Churchill, Frank Sinatra, Ava Gardner and Johnny Weismuller amongst its guests.
