OVERVIEW
View the dramatic peaks from afar in Kathmandu, Nepal’s capital, while uncovering the history behind ancient Buddhist stupas and culturally significant Hindu temples. But the best way to experience the Himalayas is on foot. Hike along ridges, through sweeping valleys and over hillsides; each route is bordered by the crescent-shaped mountain range, with some paths giving way to the infamous Annapurna Ranges and the holy Machhapuchre massif.
Your experience will begin in Kathmandu, where you will receive an introduction to the religious and spiritual history of the city. Then fly to Pokhara where your hiking adventure begins; the rugged trails will take you across a variety of landscapes as you weave through the Himalayas, you will pause in charming villages before putting your feet up at the end of the day in cosy lodge-style accommodation to reflect on the trip’s unforgettable panoramas.
