OVERVIEW
Immerse yourself fully in the culture of the Philippines with this nine-night getaway, courtesy of Travel Curated. Specially designed to ensure you soak up as much of the country’s heritage as possible, this tour includes excursions to Manila, Banaue, Sagada and Vigan, alongside homestays and local experiences. Ride traditional ‘jeepneys’ and ‘calesas’, hike the awe-inspiring Mount Pinatubo and visit world-famous rice terraces carved into the lush mountainsides. Get up close to the treasures of Manila (the capital) too. The accommodation outside of Manila is in traditional homestays and private homes, these offer very simple accommodation and basic bathroom facilities. We feel these offer the best opportunity to fully experience local life and to leave with a greater understanding of the Philippines.
