OVERVIEW
This 13-night holiday takes you on a unique journey through Thailand, using many local forms of transport, including a trishaw to make your trip that little more memorable. In the capital Bangkok, take a local tuk tuk and enjoy some of the best street food spots in town. Head north to Chang Rai and experience life with local tribal people, participate in a Batik class, offer alms to the monks and enjoy tea with a Shaman. We then learn more about the Lanna people, participate in some cooking classes and perhaps learn how to carve fruit. We then head to Chiang Mai, travel by horse drawn carriage and cruise down the river taking in the sights and sounds of this vibrant city. For the final leg we head south to Khao Lak for some time to relax on some of Thailand’s best beaches.
